Privacy Notice

1. Who we are

SMALL CHANGE (operated by LunarEclipse) provides EAMCET, JEE Main, and NEET exam preparation at smallchange.co.in. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

2. What data we collect

• Account data: your email address, and if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture as provided by Google.
• Preferences: your chosen exam (EAMCET/JEE/NEET), stream, and explanation language preference.
• Subscription/billing status: which plan you're on and its active dates. We do not store your card or UPI details ourselves — payments are processed entirely by our payment processing partner, who holds that information under their own security standards.
• Practice history: the practice question sets generated for you, saved so you can revisit them in "My Practice."

3. Why we collect it

• To create and secure your account, and let you log in.
• To generate exam practice questions relevant to your chosen exam and chapter.
• To process and manage your subscription.
• To let you revisit past practice sets.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

4. Who we share data with

• Our database and authentication provider — stores your account and practice data on our behalf, under industry-standard security practices.
• Our payment processing partner — handles your payment details directly; we only receive confirmation of payment status, not your card/UPI information.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, for authentication purposes.
• Our question-generation service provider — when generating your practice questions, we send the chapter/topic being studied. We do not send your name, email, or any other personally identifying information as part of that request.

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. How long we keep your data

• While your account is active or subscribed: your practice history is kept so "My Practice" works.
• If your subscription lapses and you don't return: your data is kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
• If you ask us to delete your account (see Section 7), we will delete your personal data within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase your data, including your account.
• Withdraw consent at any time (this may mean we can no longer provide the service to you).
